NWCT is excited to invite Reena Driggs, Global IT Director at CRC Industries, Inc., to speak about the woman's path to leadership in Information TechnologyAs a woman, immigrant and a recent mom, Reena will share her career path experiences in the ever-changing field of Information Technology. Women play a pivotal role in the workplace and make great leaders. Our journeys and experiences are different. We think differently, feel differently and express ourselves differently. How can we leverage this to our advantage? How can we come out of our comfort zones, develop confidence and grow professionally? How can we be role models for the children and colleagues whose lives we touch? How can we stand up for our needs and wants? How can we help support the other women in our workplace?

In order to grow as a leader in IT, Reena will discuss these "must do" tactics:

- Open your mind
- Invest in your education
- Get support
- Demonstrate leadership
- Be confident in your strengths and emotions
