on-the-job training, experience... The Network of Women in Computer
Technology (NWCT) offers a unique approach - the opportunity to
grow by meeting and learning from peers and professionals in the
Information Technology (IT) industry. Founded in 1980, NWCT is a
non-profit organization dedicated to advancing careers in information
technology through education, mentoring, and providing outstanding
professional networking opportunities.
Our members are women and men in the Delaware Valley who represent
every aspect of the IT profession, including design, development,
support, recruiting, sales, and marketing of information systems and
software. We come from a wide range of companies of all sizes,
products, services, markets, and information environments.
NWCT provides its members with a forum for exchanging ideas and
sharing information. At special events such as our annual Saturday
Seminar, monthly dinner meetings, and through our quarterly
newsletter, members establish invaluable professional and social
contacts and discuss topics of interest that promote professional
development.
