There are many ways to grow in our profession...education, on-the-job training, experience... The Network of Women in Computer Technology (NWCT) offers a unique approach - the opportunity to grow by meeting and learning from peers and professionals in the Information Technology (IT) industry. Founded in 1980, NWCT is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing careers in information technology through education, mentoring, and providing outstanding professional networking opportunities.

Our members are women and men in the Delaware Valley who represent every aspect of the IT profession, including design, development, support, recruiting, sales, and marketing of information systems and software. We come from a wide range of companies of all sizes, products, services, markets, and information environments.

NWCT provides its members with a forum for exchanging ideas and sharing information. At special events such as our annual Saturday Seminar, monthly dinner meetings, and through our quarterly newsletter, members establish invaluable professional and social contacts and discuss topics of interest that promote professional development.

NWCT Activities:

Monthly Meetings

At NWCT monthly meetings, IT and business experts present a wide range of topics intended to enrich our members' careers by enhancing their technical, interpersonal and organizational knowledge, while keeping them abreast of industry trends.

Special Seminars

Each year NWCT sponsors an all day Saturday seminar with enlightening and inspiring presentations by some of the areas most prominent IT experts and career development professionals. This seminar is an opportunity to learn about new technology in the IT field, improve job-related skills and expand professional development skills.

Mentoring Roundtable

NWCT sponsors a monthly group mentoring session to help members set goals and develop career strategies.
